Bed and breakfast is a typically British type of accommodation which has many benefits for the visitor to Scotland. Hotels can often be very impersonal, especially budget hotels and they are exactly the same whichever country in the world you may be. Hotel rooms are usually all the same, bland and impersonal and telling you nothing about the country that you are visiting. Many of the hotels rely on staff from other EU countries who often know little about Edinburgh or Scotland, but our bed and breakfast is staffed by its owners who live in and know the City of Edinburgh very well. Bed and breakfast is very much like a home stay and like most home owners, they are very proud not only of their Scottish home but of their city and keen to make sure that you enjoy it as much as they do.
